Pastor Trevor has been the Lead Pastor for FBC Houston since January 2023. He married his beautiful wife, Sarah, in June 2012. Trevor and his wife both grew up in Houston and absolutely love this community and can not wait to see God do work!!!

Steve Leonard  manages facilities at First Baptist Church, overseeing all aspects of the various buildings, their cleanliness and maintenance.  He is married to Marilyn and has one son and one daughter and a grandson Christian Leonard.

I have always had a passion for serving and helping others. From my career in the Family Support Division with the state for 30 years, to being a member and serving in multiple roles here at FBC since 1987. I have been the Financial Secretary since 2014 and became Administrative Assistant in 2017. I absolutely adore my family! I have 2 kids Bill Sponsler and Shannon Sanders and her husband Travis. God has blessed me through my children with wonderful grandchildren Jaxson Sponsler, Blake Sanders, Janae Huff, Colten Huff and his wife Kelsey!

Hello, I’m Katie Long the Director of the First Baptist Church Daycare. I have been married to my husband Reid Long since 2018 and we have 2 beautiful children and one on the way. I have been a Christian for as long as I can remember. I sang hymns on the platforms of several churches starting at the age of 3 with my grandmother. I was born and raised in Houston, Mo, and have loved playing, teaching, and learning with children my whole life. I spent 3 previous years working at Weecare out of high school and returned to work here in September of 2022 and became the director in December of 2022. I strive to keep all the children, staff, and parents happy and safe always. I strive to always equip my staff with the supplies and knowledge to pass the love of Jesus onto all the children that come and go out of our facility. I love what I do and do what I love.
